Wondering on the streets of Bucharest, you can't not notice the second largest building in the world. Situated in central Bucharest, this is the largest administrative building in the world, with a total area of 333.000 square meters. It was built between 1984-1989 and it was meant to be the residence of the presidency, of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. It is 12 stories tall, has 1,100 rooms and six underground parking garages (initially there were only 2, and four were additionally added).
You can admire it from the outside, but you can also visit it. The visiting program is daily between 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
