Highlights / General details

Just outside Seattle lies Woodinville wine country, boasting nearly 100 wineries and tasting rooms. On this half-day quest, visit three award-winning wineries that deliver on elegance but leave the pretense at the door. Meet winemakers, tour wineries and taste fine wine, while our expert guides give a lesson in viticulture. You’ll clean your palate with local meats and cheeses, and shuttle this all-inclusive experience in one of our plush bio-diesel Mercedes vans.

Itinerary Along with sharing a common location, all of the wineries share the vision of creating world class wine from the finest Washington vineyards. Our Woodinville Wine Trail Experience highlights three unique, award winning boutique wineries in an intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The focus is education and enjoyment as you meet with winemakers, tour wineries and, of course, taste wine. •Enjoy European styled wines at Hollywood Hills Vineyards, the only winery with an estate vineyard in Woodinville. A true garagiste, Steve and his wife Becky annually produce 1200 cases of wine in their detached garage and barn. •At JM Cellars, software executive turned winemaker, John Bigelow, focuses on handcrafting red blends of balance, power, dimension and finesse. After a tour of the barrel room, taste wines while exploring the landscape of the historic Bramble Bump property. •Sparkman Cellars, in the Woodinville Warehouse District, is truly a family operation with husband, Chris, wife, Kelly, and daughters, Ruby Leigh and Stella Mae running the show. While Ruby Leigh (aged 5) and Stella Mae (aged 7) wait to get their hands in the juice, Chris and Kelly continue to make knockout wines, focusing on grapes grown in Red Mountain AVA. •Owned by a fourth generation farming family, Airfield Estates has been growing wine grapes since 1968. Since producing their first estate vintage in 2005, Airfield’s wines have garnered high praise for quality and value. •Kestrel Vintners innovatively crafts wines of the highest caliber, showcasing the unique terroir of the Pacific Northwest. Through passion, knowledge and stewardship, their wines reveal masterfully tended vineyards, innovative winemaking techniques, and unrivaled hospitality. Celebrate the dedication, knowledge, and passion poured into every glass!
