Whale Watching and The Blue Lagoon

We will sail to the home of a unique variety of the Minke whales, Humpbacks, Harbour Porpoises and White-beaked Dolphins, which are all common sights in this tour. The local bird life is also diverse, including birds as the Puffin, Arctic tern, Gannet and many varieties of Gull. The entrance to the Whale Exhibition Centre is free of charge for Whale Watching passengers.

At 12:30pm we offer a pick-up service at the harbour that takes you back to our office. Those wanting to enjoy a leisurely walk back to our office (10-15 minutes) are also welcome to do so. We ask you to be at our office at 12:50pm at the latest.

At 1:00pm we board the bus for the 50 minute ride to the Blue Lagoon where you can enjoy the qualities it has to offer! The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland. Once there you have many recreational options such as walking in the Blue Lagoon’s spectacular surroundings, bathing in the milky blue-green water, relaxing in a geothermal steam bath or releasing the stress from your shoulders under a Blue Lagoon waterfall.

Departures from the Blue Lagoon back to Reykjavík are at 3:00pm, 5:15pm and 7:00pm. Transfer time to Reykjavík is about 50 minutes.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily (March - October); Hotel pickup at 8:00am, departure at 9:00am. Departures from the Blue Lagoon back to Reykjavik are at 3:00pm, 5:15pm and 7:00pm.

Policies

Please inform the bus driver on your way to the Blue Lagoon which departure you would like to take after visiting the Blue Lagoon. The Bathing fee for the Blue Lagoon is not included in the tour price Lockers are included in the price of the Blue Lagoon, towels and robes are available to rent for a fee.
