Situated on the right hand side of the La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, also called Barri Gotic, is a must see in Barcelona. The highlights of the quarter are the anta Maria del Mar cathedral and Placa Reail, but its narrow streets that form a true labyrinth are the real beauty. There are so many streets and so many things to see, that you should always pay attention or you may miss some of the best parts.
There are many quiet squares where you can just stop to relax and enjoy the surroundings. At night, the Barri Gotic is very lively and you will have a lot of places to chose from to have a drink and enjoy the nightlife.
