Head out from Salta past Cerrillos, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, Ampascachi, Talampaya, Alemania, and Quebrada del Rio Las Conchas together declared a World Natural Monument by UNESCO for its colorful hills and unique natural formations. Each of the hills has distinctly shaped features including the Devil’s Throat (141KM), the Amphitheater (142 Km), the Frog (153 Km), the Frail, the Obelisk (165 Km), and the Castles (168 Km).

Upon arrival in Cafayate, a town nestled in the Calchaqui Valley wine country, we will visit a local winery. In the afternoon, we will return to Salta along the same road, observing the colorful formations once again in the beautiful afternoon light.
