Versailles with Guide

Highlights / General details

We leave Paris by the western districts of the city and follow the Normandy motorway as far as Versailles. Our tour continues with a guided visit of the State Apartments and the King's and Queen's bedrooms within the palace, and the newly restored "Hall of Mirrors". Free time after the guided tour for exploring the palace gardens.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily, except Monday; Departs at 8:45am & 2:00pm; Closed May 1, December 25, January 1 + 1st Sunday of the Month in winter. The afternoon tour is NOT available: April 3; May 8, 14; December 25; Tuesdays from April 19 - June 30; Saturday and Sunday from April 4 - October 31.

Participant restrictions

Pushchairs are forbidden inside Versailles palace. This tour is not suitable to clients with walking difficulties.

Additional Information We suggest a good pair of walking / flat shoes to avoid discomfort. No high heels.

Policies Guest are required to present themselves at our agency at least 30 minutes before excursion departure time for check-in. Please note that check-in will close 10 minutes before excursion departure time. Pictures without flash are permitted inside the palace. From April 1st to October 28th, gardens entrance fee not included, can be purchased individually on location on following dates: Days of « FOUTAIN DISPLAY»: Saturdays and Sundays from April 5 to October 26 + April 18, May 8 + May 29 + August 15. Days of « MUSICAL GARDENS »: Tuesdays from April 1 to May 13 and from July 1 to October 28.
