We are located on the second floor of the Empire State Building and are the perfect complement for the ESB Observatory or Top Of The Rock. The NY SKYRIDE is a fun filled combination of movie, motion, and sights rolled up into New York's ONLY aerial virtual tour simulator. Perfect for the first time visitor or a veteran tourist, the NY SKYRIDE is a remarkable adventure story combining high definition technology, custom designed seats and a 6 meter/18 foot high screen.

Hours of operation

Open Daily 8am till 10pm. (with curtailed hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s).

Participant restrictions

People with a history of heart ailments, neck or back pain, motion sickness, fainting or dizzy spells should exercise caution. Pregnant women should not ride the NY SKYRIDE. Minimum height for the NY SKYRIDE is 36”. Children may not sit in laps and must be able to sit in a seat by themselves.

Policies

Guest is responsible for own transportation to and from attractions. NOTE: When you have cleared security at the SKYRIDE, you are cleared for the Observatory as well – there is no need to repeat any security clearance anywhere else. However, you will have to go through security again if you leave the SKYRIDE or Observatory secured areas.
