Time spent at the beautiful Otehei Bay before your transfer to Te Rawhiti.
A traditional greeting, with a visit to a marae (meeting house) learning about
Maori customs.
A meal of local produce, which you may help in preparing.
Activities such as walking, flax weaving, fishing from the shore or learning about local flora and fauna.
An afternoon transfer back to Otehei Bay then on to the mainland.
Exclusion
Transportation to and from the departure location.

The Bay of Islands is a 3 hour drive from Auckland. Take the Northern Motorway towards Orewa. Follow State Highway 1 North to Whangarei. Use the bypass and continue north on SH 1 to Kawakawa then straight onto State Highway 11 to Opua/Paihia.
