Located less than an hour from Las Vegas, Lake Mead offers you the opportunity to take a break from the Neon Jungle of Las Vegas and enjoy a wonderful cruise aboard the Desert Princess. This authentic paddle wheel boat was built especially to cruise the blue waters of Lake Mead. Enjoy your cruise in the climate controlled comfort on one of the two enclosed decks or feel the wind in your hair and the desert sun on your face up top on the open promenade deck. A light lunch (sandwich, chips, fruit and a drink) will be served to you while you are on the boat. A great activity for anyone looking to do something different on this trip to Las Vegas. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Hoover Dam above and below the surface, included in your package is the Government Guided VIP tour. They will take you down deep inside the Hoover Dam showing the inner workings of the Hoover Dam. You will also get to see a video on the construction of the Hoover Dam, your VIP pass also gives you access to the museum, monuments, gift shop and, newly opened Visitors Center. You can also enjoy a 15 minute helicopter flight over the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead area giving you the most breathtaking views from air of the magnificent Hoover Dam and the surrounding area.

Inclusion

Hotel pick-up. Government Guided VIP Discovery Tour. Access to the Visitor's Center, exhibit areas, movie room and observation deck as well as the generator room. We'll spend approximately 1.5 hours tour the Hoover Dam in addition to your cruise. Enjoy a picnic luncheon board the Desert Princess while exploring one of the largest manmade lakes in the world!

2014 February 15 through December 31: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. 2015 February 15 through December 31: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Departs at 10:30am. Does not operate Christmas and Thanksgiving Day.

Policies

Helicopter and IMAX movie cannot be combined; by taking the Helicopter Option you will forfeit one lookout point. Passengers must call at least 48 hours prior to reconfirm date, pickup time, and location. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher. No Luggage, Briefcases, Large Backpacks, or Coolers are allowed on the Motor Coach. Food and Drink are not allowed inside the Hoover Dam. Passengers must be 18 years of age to travel without the supervision of an adult. ADA - Passengers requiring buses equipped with a lift must reserve at least 72 hours prior. Lift buses are subject to availability.
