Duration

Itinerary Day 01: Delhi Arrive at Delhi airport or railway station. Transfer to hotel. Relax for the remaining time and overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi Morning after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. The important places in Old Delhi include the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk and if time permits you can visit Raj Ghat the Memoir of Mahatma Gandhi. Afternoon visit New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the akshardham temple; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India’s leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha’i Temple and the evening free to relax, overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra (204 kms/ 05 hrs drive) Morning after breakfast, drive to agra. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later visit the world famous Taj Mahal (closed on every fridays) built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his Queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains, the Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (232 kms/ 05-06 hrs drive) Morning after breakfast, drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Abandoned city) enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces. Continue drive to Jaipurand upon arrival rest of the day is free and stay overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur Get a glimpse of the erstwhile Rajputana Empire by having a visit to the Amber fort in the morning. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. The Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors, is an important place to see in the Amber fort. Afternoon tour of Jaipur. Jaipur - the capital of Rajasthan was given a colour coat of pink a century ago in honour of a visiting Prince and ever since, it has retained this colour. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory & Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal & through the pink rose residential & business areas and overnight at Jaipur.

Day 06: Jaipur - Delhi (258 kms/ 06 - 07 hrs drive) departure Morning after breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival, transfer to airport to board your flight back home.
