Itinerary
Day 1 - Orlando Arrival
Welcome to the land of perpetual sunshine and Mickey Mouse. You may want to arrive in Orlando a couple days early to take in one of the attractions, or just unwind with a few rounds of golf. Whatever your choice may be, Orlando is certainly the city that has something for everybody. Tonight we meet our fellow riders for the first time as we enjoy one another company, a cold drink and great meal in a lively Orlando eatery.
Day 2:
Orlando - Juno Beach, FL
Today is all about feeling the warm Florida air wash over us as we make the leisurely ride from Orlando to Juno Beach, our first on a long list of beaches that we will explore on our journey. Juno Beach is a laid back beach town with a very cool vibe and atmosphere. Tonight we watch the moon rise out of the Atlantic as we sip Bahama mamas and dine on plates of chilled shrimp and stone crab at a local beach bar. Welcome to paradise. By the way, get used to it.
Day 3:
Juno Beach, FL - Miami South Beach, FL
Every serious motorcycle rider needs to ride about ten places before you hang up your leathers, and the strip along Miami South Beach should most definitely be one of them. South Beach is a seemingly endless stream of tanned bodies, sidewalk cafés, eclectic restaurants and some of the hottest beach clubs in the world. We’ve got about 24 hours to soak it all in so let’s get going!
Day 4:
Miami South Beach, FL - Key West, FL
You’ve seen this stretch in movies such as Mission Impossible 2, but now here’s your chance to ride a motorcycle along the myriad of bridges, sand bars and concrete that make up the Florida Keys. We’ll stop for lunch today at a place where your cold shrimp and crawfish will be piled so high h you won’t be able to see the person setting across from you at our table. EagleRider loves riding in the mountains, but there is something about riding alongside the white sands and turquoise waters of the Keys that keeps us dreaming of this trip all summer long.
Day 5:
Key West
What is your pleasure today? Whether it is fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, exploring remote beaches, kayaking, water sports, or simply kicking back with your toes in the sand at the local beach bar, Key West has what you are looking for. You are in paradise. Kick back and enjoy the lifestyle and the people that keep the likes of jimmy Buffet coming back year after sunny year. Tonight, we will get the group for a big night out in Key West.
Day 6:
Key West, FL - Fort Myers, FL
We start our journey north today on our way out of the Florida Keys and towards the Gulf of Mexico and her inviting beaches. We will have one last opportunity to wolf down a bucket of ice cold shrimp along the keys before cruising along the north rim of Everglades National Park. Let us know if you are ready to try your hand at alligator wrestling. If not, kick back and enjoy a cold drink as we watch the professionals do it. Tonight we will enjoy the lively town of Fort Myers on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
Day 7:
Fort Myers - Orlando, FL
Our journey comes to an end today, but not before we get one last day of seriously fun riding under our belts. We’ll roll into Orlando late this afternoon with a renewed sense of energy, some sand in our boots and, of course, a great tan. Tonight we’ll meet for one last dinner to recount our week of sun, sand, cold shrimp and the sea.
