Finland Honeymoons

( No user reviews )

Finland is a great alternative to the usual beach honeymoon – instead of a water bungalow try an igloo hotel and sleep on beds of ice, with fur bedding. Imagine the two of you lying in bed and watching the Northern Lights through the walls of your glass igloo.

On your vacation in Finland you should try to take advantage of everything this country has to offer. Squeeze in your program a little bit of everything ... a bit of nature, a bit of history and a bit of wildlife.

Finland’s natural beauty and unspoiled wilderness is the perfect setting for your unique honeymoon. You can rent a lakeside cottage; it’s romantic and quiet, with nobody there to bother you. Also, in the picturesque lakes area, you can visit the Olavinlinna Castle, built in the 15th century.

Visit Turku, a beautiful city on the southern coast and Rauma, which is the largest wooden town in the Nordic countries. Aland, a province of 6400 islands has a fascinating and different culture. Immerse yourself in the Scandinavian culture.

Even though it’s the capital city, Helsinki has the feeling of a small town, with beautiful 19th century architecture and with more than thirty art galleries.
