You’ll enjoy an informative classroom session where you'll gain insight into these intelligent and fun-loving mammals. During an Encounter, the dolphin swims to you while you stand in just a few feet of water. You’ll have approximately 30 minutes to do things like shake hands, share a friendly kiss and even try out some of our training signals. However, there is no swimming involved (except by our dolphins and they’re pretty good), so you enjoy a relaxing and comfortable experience. You’ll also enjoy a full day of shows and exhibits at Miami Seaquarium. 28 people maximum per session.

Inclusion

A 15 minute educational classroom presentation prior to entering the water. A 30 minute shallow water experience including touching, feeding and playing with a dolphin. You'll even learn what its like to train a dolphin, getting up-close and personal like never before. Photo opportunities with a dolphin. Complimentary admission to all Miami Seaquarium shows and exhibits for the day. A wetsuit and towel are provided for use during the session. Guests should bring their own bathing suits. Taxes.

Park is open 9:30am - 6:00pm Swim time: 12:00pm or 3:15pm

Duration

30 minute dolphin encounter. Please allow about 1.5 hours for program.

Location Miami Seaquarium is located at 4400 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami.

Redemption instructions Present your voucher(s) and photo identification to the Dolphin Harbor check in window. There will be a $25.00 charge per person to change your program date, and you may only reschedule one time within a year of your original program date.

Participant restrictions

Children must be at least 5 years old to participate. There is a height requirement of 52” NO EXCEPTIONS. Children ages 5-9 must be accompanied by a paying adult or older sibling who also is participating in the dolphin encounter experience. Participants 10-17yrs must be accompanied by a paying adult as an observer or participant. This program is not available to expectant mothers. All Participants that are going in the water must be able to understand directions given in English or provide a translator who will also be participating in the water with them. Observing children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Policies Observers may only be booked with a Dolphin Harbor participant. Paid observers receive complimentary park admission. Observers under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are responsible for own transportation to and from attractions.
Please arrive on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late you will not be able to swim with the dolphins.
