Discovery of Champagne by Minibus

First stop of your Champagne tour will be Rheims. Enjoy a short visit of the Cathedral, a gothic masterpiece where the Kings of France used to be crowned. In the morning visit to a small wine-growers near Epernay. Depending on the activity you will see the grapes’ press, winery, blending, riddling, disgorging…then rounded off with a glass of the vineyard’s champagne. Then lunch, in the centre of Epernay, in a restaurant: traditional menu from the Champagne region. The afternoon begins at Epernay with a visit to Mercier Cellar where an expert explains the method of Champagne making from grape picking to bottling. (Tasting session: one glass of Champagne offered). Return to Paris along the Marne River.
