Preserved and presented by the Fort Lauderdale Historical Society, this unique architectural collection and museum is a true historical treasure.

Bonnet House Museum & Gardens:

Step into 1920s whimsy created by American artist Frederic Clay Bartlett and his family at The Bonnet House. Sitting on the Atlantic Ocean, the house, art studio and 35-acres of subtropical grounds showcases this eccentric clans' collections including exotic shells, an outstanding orchid collection, antiques, eclectic artwork, tropical fruit groves and an array of exotic birds and other animals.

The Stranahan House was built in 1901 as a trading post for settlers and Seminole Indians.
