Course 40: Tobacco Route

The name of this route came out from the continuous apparition of the number, 40, in the life of tobacco: 40 days from the moment the seed is planted until the birth and transfer of the plant in the field. 40 Days is the time of maturing, in which the plant "matures" enough, and is ready to cut. 40 Days are also necessary for the plant to dry up in the special houses, so this precious product can be transported to the manufacturing industries that will transform it into cigars.

Overnight at Los Acros hotel. Day 4: Full Breakfast. Visit to the tobacco plantations in Esteli area to find outt about the process of plantation and elaboration of the tobacco. Lunch included.
