This journey begins with an incredible (family oriented) 12-mile, rapid free "Calm Water" raft trip down through the magnificent canyons of the Colorado River to Willow Beach, Arizona. This soft adventure gently flows from the very base of the Hoover Dam, affording a magnificent view and perspective of the dam available nowhere else. Along the way, expert guides point out the soaring birds of prey, the gravity defying bighorn sheep, and the unexpected waterfalls and bubbling hot springs. Lunch is served on a romantic sandy beach along the river. At Willow Beach you will board one of our 4x4’s or custom VIP Mini Coaches for a beautiful and scenic drive to Hoover Dam. The Hoover Dam tour includes the Visitor Center and Historical Displays, views from the interior base of the dam into the Generator Room, the fascinating Hoover Dam Movie, with ample time for breathtaking views from the top of the dam, Lake Mead, the world's largest man-made lake, the eastern edge of the chasm in Arizona where you have fabulous views of the dam including Lake Mead. In addition, there are fabulous photo ops of the new Hoover Dam Bridge. Before returning to Las Vegas we stop at a local park where herds of Big Horn Sheep often come down from the surrounding mountains to gather and graze on the sweet grass.

Hours of operation

Available: Daily; Wednesday and Saturday only in December and January; Pick up from select hotels at 8:00am. No tour departures Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

Approximately 10 hours.

Policies

There is a minimum of 2 passengers for this tour. However, tour may be booked with less but is subject to being cancelled if minimum has not been met by tour date. Confirmed reservations cancelled by the customer at least 48 hours prior to the trip date will be charged a $25 per person cancellation fee. Guest is required to call 24 hours prior to tour time to confirm pickup location and time. Complete information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, will be included on your Confirmation Voucher.
