See the best of both “Old and New” Mexico City on your sightseeing excursions. The Pyramids & Shrine of Guadalupe will take you through the entire complex of Aztec treasures, such as the Pyramids of the Sun & Moon, Temple of Quetzalcoatl and Palace of the Jaguars. En route we will visit the Shrine of Guadalupe, the 2nd second most visited religious shrine in the world. The half day Mexico City Tour includes the Metropolitan Cathedral, Chapultepec Park area, the National Palace, The Zocalo of Mexico and the Museum of Anthropology. This morning we’ll depart Morelia for a visit to Patzcuaro including the Island of Janitzio, known for the arts and crafts produced by local natives. Sightseeing also includes the Eleven Patios House and a visit to the market place known for its unique copperware. Overnight in Morelia.
Day 6: MORELIA - GUANAJUATO
Early morning departure to Guanajuato. A former mining town, Guanajuato boasts one of Mexico’s finest Universities. Sightseeing includes a visit to the Marketplace, the Museum of Mexican Independence, Juarez Theater and the house of Diego Rivera. You will also have time to explore the Catacombs, one of the Guanajuato’s most famous attractions. In the evening, stroll through the charming streets and while enjoying the local music.
