Two routes - one ticket! The City S ightseeing Bus Tour of Pisa will help you to discover the City, situated just a few Kilometres away from the Tirreno Sea and San Rossore Natural Park. The tour starts from the bell tower journeys through the city and it's Squares, suburbs, museums and the Lungarni. Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo which is home to the famous Leaning Tower. The Tower of Pisa, which was begun in 1173, stands at 180 feet high. It leans more than 14 feet out of line, due to its faulty foundation on unstable soil. Take a 30 minute tour of the tower, climb the 300 steps and enjoy a fantastic view from the top. Visit the beautiful baptistery and the Cathedral while you’re in the vicinity. These pristine, white buildings make an excellent backdrop, on attractive green lawns. Hop off at the National Museum of Palazzo Reale which houses the offices of the Artistic Heritage Commission as well as rare collections. Admire portraits of Pisan nobles and tapestries and furnishings by 16th century Flemish and Florentine artists.
