Highlights / General details

For 38 years, Captain Zodiac has introduced visitors to an array of natrure’s secret wonders that can only be experienced in a Zodiac Raft. The small group atmosphere of our expedition allows for a personal and intimate tour. Snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, site of the Captain Cook monument. These highly maneuverable, military Zodiacs can get you close up to the many lava tubes, sea caves and blow holes of this rugged coastline. Keep a sharp eye, for you will see and encounter pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles and humpback whales (January – April)! Your captains/naturalists will tell stories of Hawaiian history and culture, island geology, and many marine species that you will encounter.
