The Kid’s Ski and Ride School is for children 3-17. The classes are based on discipline, ability and age. We also offer a lesson/ticket package for children ages 7 and up (6 and under ski for free).

Mini Riders: This full day snowboard lesson option is designed for young ones learning to board. It is only open to ages 5-6 and has a guaranteed ratio of no more than 1 instructor to 3 children. This is the only option for snowboard lessons for children this young. The thinking behind this is that kids this young learn boarding much better and more easily in a small group, whereas skiing can be learned more easily in larger groups.

Kid’s Levels: Cubs - Age 3. Each day includes approximately one hour of ski instruction combined with organized activities, games and quiet time. To participate in the Cubs program the child must be fully potty trained. Explorers – Ages 4–6 years. Challengers (Ski) and Challenger Riders (Snowboard) - Ages 7–14 years. Teens – Ages 13–17 years. The Teen Program is available 12/21/13 – 1/5/14, 2/15/14 – 2/21/14 and 3/8/14 – 3/21/14. Teen lessons are only available during Peak Season. So you would not be able to reserve a two day lesson beginning on 1/5 because you would cross into a time period when these lessons are not offered. During time periods when Teen lessons are not offered, 13-14 year olds should be booked into a Challenger level lesson and 15-17 year olds should be booked into Adult lessons.

Full day lesson including Lunch.

Exclusion

Transportation to and from the resort; Prices do not include lift ticket unless specified; Helmets.

Available: Daily, November 21 - April 7; Lessons start at 9:30am.

Duration

Approximately 6 hours, 5 hours of lesson time and 1 hour for lunch.
