London's famous food market is one of the largest in the world and one of the highest quality in the U.K. Not only does it sell the best British products, but also a large variety of international products. Fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, cheese, bread, coffee, cakes are brought to the market by producers from all over the country and sold at the 70 stalls and stands available. Many of the stalls trade only from Thursday to Saturday.
Borough Market has become really popular in the last couple of years, it has been promoted by British television chefs and scenes from famous movies have been filmed here: Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004).
