The Kawarau Bungy is where the Bungy craze all began back in 1988 with Bungy pioneers AJ Hackett and Henry van Asch. The World’s first commercial Bungy jump stands 43m above the blue waters of the Kawarau River and is a Queenstown adventure icon.

Combine this with the famous 360 spins of Shotover Jet, a helicopter ride and some white-water rafting and you’ve got a day to remember!

Inclusion

Hotel pickup and drop off (selected hotels only), AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy jump (43m), Shotover Jet boat ride, Helicopter flight to the rafting launch site in Skippers Canyon, White-water rafting on the Shotover River, Full wetsuit clothing and rafting equipment, Hot showers and sauna at the rafters lodge and Authentic Bungy Jumper T'Shirt.

Available daily. Check-In: 7:30am and 8:45am.

Duration

Full Day (Approximately 6 to 8 hours).

Additional information All you need to bring is Swim wear, Towel, Closed and secure shoes for the Bungy, and Warm clothes during winter periods.

Participant restrictions

Participants must be at least 13 years of age. Those under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Those under 18 years must have signed parent/guardian consent. MINIMUM weight of 40 KG for Rafting. MAXIMUM weight of 235 KG for Kawarau Bungy. Basic swimming skills are required for everyone participating in white water rafting. Pregnant women are unable to participate in any of these activities. If you have any previous neck or back injuries please provide details.

Policies

All combo/rafting trips require a minimum number of passengers for departures. Bookings will be accepted for numbers less than the required minimum number on the basis that bookings will be coordinated to achieve minimum numbers. All tours operate weather permitting. Guests wanting to make changes are required to contact reservations at least 48 hours prior to departure.

All information requested must be supplied or booking is subject to automatic cancellation
