Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea, (1 hour drive, and short stop). Drive to Mycenae (1 hour drive), the Homeric city of Atreides, and the city “rich in gold” of the ancient poets. Visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs etc. Depart for Nauplion (35 minutes’ drive) through the fertile plain of Argolis, the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress (short photo stop), leave for Epidauros (45 minutes’ drive), to visit the Theatre (4th century B.C.) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Return to Athens by the National road connecting Epidauros with Corinth (2 hours 30 minutes’ drive). Lunch in Mycenae.

Available April to October: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Available November to March: Tuesday and Saturday. Departs 8:45am, Returns 7:00pm. Does not operate on Ash Monday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Whit Monday, Greek National Day.

Additional information Children 0-3 years old free of charge provided no bed or seat in the bus is occupied or meals offered.

Policies

Clients staying at the coast will depart for their hotels from G.O.TOURS terminal around 7:30pm. Pick-up time is according to clients’ request for private tours & according to hotel for organized tours. Complete information including local telephone numbers and specific hotel pick up time will be included in your voucher.
