New Orleans School of Cooking The New Orleans School of Cooking teaches the basics of Louisiana cooking in a way you'll never forget. Experience Creole/Cajun experts teaching New Orleans specialties such as Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Pralines, seasoning them with history, tall tales and trivia. Don't forget to stop by the adjoining Louisiana General Store.

New Orleans Culinary History Tours During the three-hour New Orleans Culinary History Tour, you'll discover the rich culinary history of New Orleans. You'll walk pass notable landmarks such as the St. Louis Cathedral and Jackson Square, and sample delicious food selections at select historic restaurants including the cities two oldest, Antoine's (1840) and Tujague's (1856).

Tujague's Restaurant Located in the heart of the French Quarter, Tujague's Restaurant is New Orleans' second oldest establishment. Specializing in classic Creole Cuisine using only the freshest ingredients available. Come, relax and enjoy the finest dishes and drinks New Orleans has to offer in this friendly neighborhood restaurant.

Inclusion

A two and 1/2 hour cooking demonstration class and lunch at New Orleans School of Cooking, and a complimentary cookbook, the Class Act Cookbook. A three-hour guided New Orleans culinary and history walking tour, and complimentary food samples at select restaurants. New Orleans School of Cooking: Cooking Demonstration Class and Lunch daily starting at 10am. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the schedule class start time of 10 am. Closed New Year's Day, Mardi Gras Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. New Orleans Culinary History Tours: Tours are now available seven days a week at 2 p.m. Tujague's Restaurant: Open daily for dinner 5pm – 10pm.
