Keri has not yet been invaded by mass tourism and still maintains its charm. It's a quiet place, with about 700 inhabitants, perfect for relaxing. It has traditional stone buildings that survived the earthquake of 1953 and a beautiful central square, with narrow streets.
One kilometer from Keri, lies the lighthouse, offering a view of the Ionian Sea and guiding ships for over a century. It is one of the main attractions of the village.
As far a accommodation goes, Keri has many types of lodgings, from simple apartments to big stone-built houses, accommodating a whole family, offering every modern convenience at reasonable prices.
Rent a bike to explore the village or a car if you want to wonder out of Keri and see the surroundings. Marathonissi is a small island opposite of Keri, with lush vegetation, sandy beaches and beautiful sea-caves which can be reached by boat.
