Cape Town is the oldest city in South Africa and has a rich cultural heritage. It also has the top five national attractions in South Africa that should appear on every visitor´s itinerary all year round. With its wide variety of activities one could easily spend a week or more in Cape Town. It is a good idea to have an idea of what you would like to see and do while in Cape Town and plan your itinerary.

Robben Island is the former place of residence of Nelson Mandela. From the 17th to the 20th centuries, Robben Island served as a place of banishment, isolation and imprisonment. Today it is a World Heritage Site and museum, a poignant reminder to the newly democratic South Africa of the price paid for freedom.

Don´t miss a visit up Table Mountain, the V&A Waterfront, a unique shopping and holiday experience on a scenic working harbour.
