Poble Espanyol (Spanish Village) was built for the International Exhibition in 1929. It comprises 116 buildings, all in different architectural styles, representing the main regions of Spain. It even has a church, a monastery, a town hall and shops. Plaza Mayor, the main square is always fool of people, and it is linked to the other smaller squares by narrow streets.
In 1988 the village was renovated and some attractions were added. One of them are the workshops where artisans create decorative glass, ceramics and different handmade objects.
