The Papallacta Hot springs are said to be the best in Ecuador, offering mineral, crystalline, hyper thermal, hyper-tonic, sulfate and alkaline terreous waters. There are several pools, differing in temperature from 60 degrees to body temperature and from swimming pool sized to private bath. Some of these pools are municipal and others are part of resorts.
The weather at Papallacta is typically very cold, but these pools are perfect to warm, reduce stress and get healthier.
