Legoland Theme Park - The Original

( No user reviews )

General

The famous sets LEGO are originally from Billund, Denmark, and they have a rich history since their invention in 1930s by Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen. The name comes from the combination of the Danish words "lege godt", which mean "play good". If you were a big fan of the Lego sets when you were a child, or if you have children, the trip to Legoland is totally worth it. Nearly every visitor that comes to Billund, comes for this reason.

Replicas of famous attractions from Denmark and all over the world, made out of this little bricks: the Statue of Liberty, the Amalienborg Palace, Mount Rushmore and many others, are sure an interesting thing to see. Maybe not like the original, but still interesting. All of these together form Miniland, one of the five sections of the park. 45 million Lego pieces were used for their construction.

On the other sections, you can enjoy the different coasters, a train ride acrosss the variety of Lego scenes. The most interesting off all is by far the PirateLand, with miniature ships and pirates. The kids will love the roller coasters, themed with elements from the Lego sets. The new LEGO MINDSTORMS® Centre will let the kids' imagination run free, as they can build, program and test their own robots in a workshop.

All in all, Legoland is a place of creativity and fun, were everyone will have fun, no matter their age.
