There aren't many rococo buildings in Denmark, but Amalienborg Palace is an exception to that. And actually a stunning exception. It is the winter home of the Danish Royal Family. Unfortunately not all buildings are open for visits, but still the experience is great. Its history (more on its history on http://www.everycastle.com/Amalienborg-Palace.html ) is not that impressive, being always a residence, but its new gardens are some of the most beautiful ones I've seen.
