Nungwi Village Cultural Experience

Our tour begins from your hotel in Stone Town. You will be collected by a Zanzibar Unique guide at 9:00am when you will drive to Nungwi viewing the local villages’ en-route (approximately 1 hour by road). This is a tour for the culturally inquisitive. You will visit the villages of Nungwi, shop in the local markets, visit the Dhow builders along the beach, take a visit to a local blacksmith, fish market, a natural Turtle Sanctuary and a ‘surprise’ workshop visit.

Nungwi is a beautiful beach area and the village has a very close relationship to the hotels located along the beach. Enjoy lunch (at your own account) in one of the local beach restaurants. Enjoy the fresh seafood on offer (can’t get any fresher or tastier than this), our guide can recommend a nice spot for you. After the tour (approximately 6 hours) you will be returned to your hotel.
