Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage in 1987, The Great Wall of China is a fortification built and rebuilt between the 5Th century BC and the 16Th century.
The Potala Palace was the chief residence of the Dalai Lama until the 14th Dalai Lama ran to India, after an invasion in 1959. Today the Potala Palace has been converted into a museum by the Chinese.
